Start Here — Find the Right Tools for Your Business

Welcome to The SaaS Worker. This page exists for one reason: to help you find the right AI and SaaS tools for your business without wasting time or money on the wrong ones.

We are not a tech blog. We are not a software company. We are small business operators who have tested these tools ourselves and report back honestly on what works, what does not, and who each tool is actually built for.

What Kind of Business Do You Run?

Use this as your starting point. Find your situation below and we will point you in the right direction.

I Sell Products or Services Online

You need an all-in-one platform that handles your website, email marketing, sales funnels, and payment processing without stitching five tools together.

Start with: Systeme.io — handles everything in one place, free plan available, no credit card required. Used by over 300,000 entrepreneurs worldwide.

I Take Client Calls or Record Audio

Background noise on calls is one of the fastest ways to look unprofessional. One tool fixes this permanently.

Start with: Krisp — AI noise cancellation that works with every platform. Free plan available, Pro is $8/month.

I Do Research, Lead Generation, or Competitor Monitoring

If you spend hours manually pulling data from websites, there is a better way. AI-powered scraping tools do it automatically, no coding required.

Start with: Thunderbit — point it at any website, tell it what data you want, it extracts it automatically.

I Do Email Marketing

Two tools every email marketer needs — one to send, one to keep your list clean.

To send emails: Brevo — the best value email marketing platform available. Free up to 300 emails per day.

To clean your list: ZeroBounce — verify your list before every major send. Protects your sender reputation and keeps emails out of spam.

I Need to Get Organised and Track My Sales

Every small business needs a CRM. The good news is the best one for small businesses is completely free.

Start with: HubSpot Free CRM — unlimited contacts, deal pipeline, email tracking, and meeting scheduler at no cost.

How We Review Tools

Every tool on this site is evaluated against four criteria:

  • Value for money — does the price match what you get?
  • Ease of use — can a non-technical business owner use it without a developer?
  • Time saved — does it meaningfully reduce the time you spend on that task?
  • Real problem solved — does it fix something that actually hurts small businesses?

If a tool does not pass that test, we say so. If we would not recommend it to a friend running a small business, we do not recommend it here.
